The House of Representatives has condemned the resurgence of coups in Burkina Faso and other West African countries, saying it portrays great dangers to democratic values in the region.
Nigerians and other countries as well as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) were also called for sanction by the Green Chamber legislatures.
A member of the lower chamber, Julius Ihonvbere, also move a motion to condemn the act that has led to four coups in the sub region in the last six months with recent cases being Burkina Faso and Mali.
