Expression of disappointment has been felt by Nigeria’s Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, over Nigeria’s placement on United Kingdom’s red list on Omicron variant of COVID-19. The Health Minister showed the expression during an interactive session with newsmen who made inquiries about combating efforts against the Omicron variant perceived as deadlier than COVID-19.
Osagie Ehanire said the Federal Government is not delighted with the Country’s red list placement because it would affect commerce and disrupt activities of the festive season including family reunions.
